BWW Review: STARSTRUCK at Glasgow Theatre Royal (Streaming)

Gene Kelly was originally asked to choreograph a work for Paris Opera Ballet in 1960, the piece, Pas de Dieux, was celebrated as a “breath of fresh air” at the time, and was widely acknowledged as bringing the “American style” to Europe. Scottish Ballet Celebrates 50 Years In Style
This weekend, Scottish Ballet transformed the Festival Theatre in Edinburgh for the most glamorous night of the year, Scottish Ballet's 50th anniversary. Guests took over the theatre's stage for a dining experience like no other - giant gold pipes and twinkling lights hung from the rafters, bouquets were peppered with golden ferns, even the event finale was dusted with 'SB50' confetti falling from the 'sky'.

Night of the Living Dead Live has announced that it will extend to 8 June, playing a total of nine weeks at Pleasance, London, with opening night for press on 16 April. The first ever UK stage adaptation and the only officially authorised production based on George A. Romero's cult zombie classic is directed by Benji Sperring (The Toxic Avenger: The Musical; Shock Treatment, Valley Of Song) and produced by Katy Lipson for Aria Entertainment and Ollie Rosenblatt for Senbla. Based on George A. Romero's unparalleled 1968 film Night of the Living Dead, the first ever UK stage adaptation and the only officially authorised production will come to life at Pleasance, London from 9 April to 19 May 2019. Directed by Benji Sperring (The Toxic Avenger: The Musical; Shock Treatment, Valley Of Song), Night of the Living Dead Live will pay homage to the cult monochrome classic, skirting the line between the horrific and the hysterical as it resurrects the original zombie masterpiece. Casting will be announced in due course.
Cam Anthony to Open for Kem in Detroit This Weekend

Aftermath Entertainment teen singing sensation, Cam Anthony, will take the stage at Chene Park Amphitheatre in Detroit this weekend, as opening act at Motown Artist KEM's shows on Friday, June 24 and Saturday, June 25. Friday's show (with special guest, Lalah Hathaway) is a sell-out; tickets for Saturday's show (with special guest, Avery Sunshine) are available at Ticketmaster and at the Chene Park Box Office.
