BIO

Christopher Gabriel Núñez is a playwright, actor, and hip-hop artist. He double majored in Dramatic Writing and Drama at NYU Tisch School of the Arts and studied Meisner technique at Maggie Flanigan Studio. His play “The Surgeon and her Daughters” was work shopped at the 2015 Ojai Playwright’s Conference and will be receiving a production as part of the Cherry Lane Mentor Project this February under the mentorship of Rajiv Joseph. He is a proud member of José Rivera’s writing group as well as The 2016-2018 Public Theater Emerging Writers Group. He is a recipient of The Farm Theater's Barnstorming Project commission in association with the Maryland Area Community College Performing Arts Collective.

Stable Cable Lab Co. has announced the cast and plays for the second annual LiveWire: An Evening of New Short Plays at the Laurie Beechman Theatre, 407 West 42nd Street, NYC on Sunday, January 25. Doors will open at 5:30pm for food and drinks and the performance will begin at 7pm. The evening will feature five world premieres of ten-minute plays by Nat Cassidy, Breanna Foister, Stephen Gracia, Collin McConnell, and Christopher Gabriel Nuñez, and will take you from the 1960s through the 2000s, with live music by YouTube sensation, Taylor Fererra. The story of how this new collaboration was formed fuses old songs and new and is led by veterans Eric Miranda, Kole Smith and Matt Harrington.
