Christopher Darrin is a young, professional actor, singer, dancer who started his own career. Unbeknownst to his parents, Christopher asked his second grade teacher if he could sing in front of the class. Upon hearing of this, Christopher was immediately enrolled in singing and piano lessons. Within a year, Christopher was performing at street fairs and festivals across Long Island in a rock and roll band. Two years later he was introduced to musical theater, appearing on the main stage in Gypsy, Allegro, Peter Pan, A Christmas Story The Musical, and Merrily We Roll Along ... all in less than two years.
In addition to the theater, Christopher enjoys dancing. He has entered international Latin ballroom dance competitions where he danced the Cha-Cha, Samba, Rumba, Paso Doble and Jive. Ballroom dancing has given Christopher the opportunity to explore his Puerto Rican and Cuban roots.
Christopher is also a Ballet dancer and is fortunate to be studying Ballet with internationally known Ballet Master Frank Ohman, formerly of the New York City Ballet where he was a soloist for twenty-two years , having studied professionally with George Balanchine.
Christopher has appeared in the horror concept film Enter the House and recently filmed for the new TV sitcom The Donny Show as Sammy Shoals on USA Network working with Donny Deutsch.
Some of Christopher's hobbies include playing Can Jam, swimming, kayaking, running, juggling, and spending time with his family, especially his big brother.
Christopher Darrin is a driven young performer who plays multiple instruments, sings, dances and acts. When asked to relax, have fun and just be a kid, he excitedly replies "no one is having more fun than me!" He is represented by Shirley Grant Management.
