American Performer, Director, Composer and Writer originally from New Orleans, LA where he attended the New Orleans Centre for the Creative Arts Academy for Theatre and Film. Attended Full Sail University for Digital Arts and Design.
Robinson began in professional theatre at the age of ten following directing at age eleven leading to writing at age thirteen. By the time he entered High School, he began exploring every department of theatrical arts and production in general. He has produced music for various organizations/schools in New York, Los Angeles, Florida and Internationally including West End Bares 2017 (‘The Wiz Live’ arrangement “A Brand New Day” with lead singer Marisha Wallace [‘Dream Girls’-West End] and Choreography by Tom Jackson Greaves), and original music/orchestrations for the AWARD-WINNING stage comedy ‘Trading Soles’ (2017 International Fringe Festival - Orlando, FL). Tony and Grammy Award-winning orchestrator Alex Lacamoire has been Robinson’s main inspiration for a number of years, for it has contributed to the wonderful works produced by Robinson.
Highlights of Robinson’s other credits include: ‘Crossing the Line to Broadway’ (Documentary 2015/Director+Editor), ‘In the Heights’ (Orlando, FL Premiere 2015/Music Assistant+Street Dancer), ‘Bring It On!’: A Tribute to Broadway (Fan Made Film 2014/Director, Choreographer+Orchestrations),‘Bring It On!’ The Musical (2016 Central FL Premiere/Co-Producer + Music Supervisor) and ‘Jekyll & Hyde’ The Musical (Ensemble/Music Assistant). Robinson has written a total of eight plays/musicals in his lifetime while ‘Bump It’ will mark his first piece to be released for a full on series of workshops for the year of 2018.
