Christopher Cannon is an Atlanta based music director, pianist, and vocalist.
Musical directing/musician credits include Chess; Hot Mikado; Shrek, the Musical; James and the Giant Peach; Knuffle Bunny: A Cautionary Musical; Once More with Hart; Honk!; Seussical, the Musical; Disney's Alladin; Disney's Mulan; TheWizard of Oz; Let’s Talk About AIDS; Pacific Overtures; Leap; and An Evening With Phyllicia Rashad at Atlanta’s Alliance Theatre. Christopher is also a keyboard programmer, recording/audio engineer, and music technology consultant for regional theaters across the country such as The Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park, Cincinnati, The North Shore Theatre, Boston, and The Alliance Theatre, Atlanta.
As owner and musical director of 7 Course Theatre and Bridge Communications, he has performed in and produced a variety of corporate live industrial shows for clients including Coca-Cola, AT&T, IBM, Rich’s, Chik-fil-a, Milliken, Wachovia Bank, BellSouth, C.N.A. Insurance, Novo Nordisk, and the Canadian National Railroad.
He has also been a featured performer and musical director in numerous night spots including Ottley’s, The Ritz-Carlton Hotel, The Purple Parrott, Rosalyn’s Cabaret, Johanna’s Cabaret, and Libby’s Cabaret in Atlanta; The Casablanca in Linden, NJ, and Bally’s Park Place Casino in Atlantic City. He has been a featured vocalist for 11-Alive’s Star Spangled Night (live broadcast from Lenox Square), B-98.5’s Summer Concert Series, and has made several appearances at Spivey Hall with the William Noll Orchestra (NPR broadcast). Christopher is proud to have performed for Pope Paul VI at the Vatican, and for George Bush and Jimmy Carter at the White House.
