The Kitchen Theatre Company to Stage THE CHINESE LADY
The Kitchen Theatre Company will continue its 2021-2022 season with Lloyd Suh's The Chinese Lady, a poetic and subversively comedic tale that gives voice to our country's hidden history. Generously sponsored by WRFI, Tompkins Trust Company, CSP Management, OurBus, Don Spector and Stacia Zabusky and WRVO Public Media, The Chinese Lady will run from Tuesday, March 22 through Sunday, April 10 and will offer free childcare on Sunday, April 10 and Pay What You Want rush tickets throughout the duration of the run.
New York Shakespeare Exchange Presents THE WINTER'S TALE
New York Shakespeare Exchange has announced their upcoming outdoor production of Shakespeare's THE WINTER'S TALE, directed by Liz Thaler. THE WINTER'S TALE begins performances on Saturday, September 18 for a limited engagement through Sunday, October 10.
NJ Rep Announces FIRE ESCAPE PLAYS
NJ Rep will present its first outdoor short play festival on Saturday, August 28 and Sunday, August 29 at 2pm and 5pm. The performances are free and will be held at their West End Arts Center, 132 West End Avenue, Long Branch. There is free parking in their lot off of Sairs Avenue.
Hunger & Thirst Theatre Announces the Launch of IN ONE EAR
Hunger & Thirst Theatre has announced the launch of IN ONE EAR, which can be viewed until March 21. IN ONE EAR is an artistic version of the childhood game of Telephone. Hunger & Thirst Theatre commissioned four artists to create, one after the other, a digital performance.

Project Y Theatre Company presents the World Premiere of GREAT AGAIN, an evening of plays in two parts: The Test by Crystal Skillman (directed by Jessi D. Hill) and In the Line by Chiori Miyagawa (directed by Kristin Horton and choreographed by Sonoko Kawahara). This double bill of new plays was commissioned by Project Y Theatre Company, written as a response to the November 2016 election and presented as the centerpiece of the 2nd Annual Women in Theatre Festival dedicated to broadening opportunities for women playwrights.
