THE COLOR PURPLE's Antoine L. Smith, along with ON YOUR FEET cast members Doreen Montalvo & Jennifer Sanchez will perform in the Broadway Artists & Friends Open Mic & Mingle on Monday April 11th at 7pm at the Laurie Beechman Theatre. They will be joined by Megan Lewis (IF/THEN, SPIDER-MAN: TURN OFF THE DARK, GREY GARDENS), Ian Knauer (DAMES AT SEA, MAMMA MIA!, BY JEEVES, STATE FAIR), D'Vorah Bailey (CANDIDE), Monette McKay (SPIDER-MAN: TURN OFF THE DARK, MEMPHIS, MAMMA MIA), J.L. Williams (FELA!) as well as selected up and comers (listed below).

On Monday, April 27th, the Metropolitan Room was packed with Broadway & Aspiring artists who shared new works and cheered each other on at the Broadway Artists & Friends Open Mic & Mingle. Hosted by JERSEY BOYS' Peter Gregus, audiences were treated to an up close look at singers trying out new songs & sharing their stories. Scott Alan made his concert debut at 54 Below just last week on, January 19th with a slew of Broadway all-star talent, including 2014 Tony winners Jessie Mueller and James Monroe Iglehart, Tony nominees Joshua Henry andChad Kimball, as well as Lilla Crawford, Erin Davie, Mykal Kilgore, Natalie Weiss, Christine Dwyer, Julian Cihi, Danny Calvert, Elizabeth Stanley, Abby Mueller, Christiane Noll, Jessica Phillips, Lisa Brescia, Ashley Brown, Eden Espinosa, Marcus Paul James, Julia Murney, Marissa Rosen, Christina Cataldo and Galyana Castillo joined Alan.

Monday's Simply Scott Alan concert marked the prolific and beloved artist's 54 BELOW debut, and served as a fantastic evening of wondrous music and dazzling performances. As previously announced, Alan will make his concert debut at 54 Below on January 19th.
