BIO
Christie Perfetti Williams (Playwright/Producer) is the founding artistic director of Carnival Girls Productions. She is an NYIT-nominated playwright with over 30 productions of her work performed internationally. A novelist and screenwriter as well, Christie is dedicated to creating and producing art by and about women. She is a volunteer with resettled refugees, a PTO parent, church-goer and Taekwon-Do enthusiast. Occasionally she reads a palm. Born and raised in Oswego, NY and a graduate of Wells College, Christie makes her home on the Jersey Shore with her partner and husband, Greg, their children, Luke, Eve and Ruby, and rescue pup, Memphis.

Award-winning Retro Productions, under the Artistic Direction of Heather E. Cunningham, will present the critically acclaimed play, And Miss Reardon Drinks A Little. The production runs May 5th through May 20th at the Gene Frankel Theatre. Shay Gines, a Founding Executive Director of the New York Innovative Theatre Awards, directs. This is the 50th anniversary of And Miss Reardon Drinks A Little. The play was originally produced in Los Angles in 1967, and in 1971 the comedy opened on Broadway at the Morosco Theatre.

Perhaps one of Kaufman's lesser known works, The Butter and Egg Man is a wonderful comedy about producing theater and was one of Kaufman's biggest Broadway successes when it opened at the Longacre Theatre in 1925. The production is directed by Ricardo Rust who co-produced Retro Productions, An Appeal to the Woman of the House which was nominated for 3 New York Innovative Theater Awards and won an award for Heather E. Cunningham for Outstanding Actress in a Lead Role.
