Today, USA Network revealed the trailer for the upcoming drama, DARE ME, premiering Sunday, December 29 at 10/9c. Based on the acclaimed novel by Megan Abbott, who serves as writer and executive producer along with Gina Fattore, DARE ME is an unflinching exploration of teen angst, jealousy, loyalty and the dynamics of power in a small Midwestern town.

Inaugural Mammoth Film Festival Announces Round 2 of It's Official Selection Lineup
The organizers behind the upcoming inaugural Mammoth Film Festival are unleashing Round 2 of their Official Selections lineup for the festival taking place February 8-11. The organizers are thrilled to announce an unprecedented 120 film projects in competition (15 features, 6 of which are world premieres and 105 shorts) at this first-year event. The complete lineup, schedule and tickets are available for purchase now at: www.mammothfilmfestival.org.The festival will award over $20,000 in filmmaker prizes and funds.

HBO has renewed the critically acclaimed drama series THE LEFTOVERS for a third and final season, it was announced today by Michael Lombardo, president, HBO Programming. Created by Damon Lindelof (Emmy winner for “Lost”) and Tom Perrotta (Academy Award nominee for “Little Children”), the series is produced for HBO by White Rabbit in association with Warner Bros. Television.

The goal of art is to make the viewer feel. While many didn't appreciate what the first season of HBO's THE LEFTOVERS made them feel, no one can argue that it did, in fact, make them feel something; and for many, more deeply than TV has in a long time. Often, for better or for worse, that feeling was an overwhelming sense of oppressive grief. Easily last season's most divisive show, Season 2 kicked off tonight with a slightly different approach, a more optimistic approach, but nonetheless, still a very emotionally intense approach. And, in doing so, THE LEFTOVERS has taken a gigantic step forward to becoming the most compelling drama on television.
