Lifeline Theatre Announces New Producing Director Leadership Structure With 2024-25 Mainstage Season

Lifeline Theatre's Board of Directors has announced that it will launch a new ‘Producing Director' structure with the start of its 2024-25 MainStage season.  A Producing Director Team composed of artistic ensemble members Heather Currie, Elise Kauzlaric, Anthony Kayer, and Chris Vizurraga will provide creative and production oversight for the theatre and its four upcoming productions.
Lifeline Theatre KidSeries Presents LYLE, LYLE, CROCODILE

Lifeline Theatre's KidSeries presents Lyle, Lyle, Crocodile, based on the children's book by Bernard Waber, with adaptation by Lifeline Theatre ensemble member Christina Calvit, music and lyrics by George Howe, and directed by Lifeline Theatre ensemble member Amanda Link. While the Primm family is busily moving into their new home on East 88th Street, they are shocked to discover a crocodile in their bathtub! His name is Lyle, he performs tricks, and, oh, he only eats Turkish caviar. The Primm's are quick to welcome Lyle into the family, but not everyone is so thrilled about a crocodile living on the block. Discover the meaning of family in this musical based off the beloved classic by Bernard Waber. This production is recommended for children ages five and up and runs approximately one hour with no intermission.

Lifeline Theatre's KidSeries presents Lester's Dreadful Sweaters, a world premiere musical adaptation with script by Lifeline Theatre ensemble member Aly Renee Amidei; lyrics by Aly Renee Amidei, Julie Tallarida and Scott Tallarida; music by Scott Tallarida; and directed by Lifeline Theatre ensemble member Heather Currie, based on the book by K.G. Campbell. One terrible morning, Cousin Clara presents young Lester with the gift of a hand-knit sweater... and it is DREADFUL: shriveled yet saggy and smothered with pom-poms. Lester (who likes things just so) is mortified to wear it, but his parents insist and the kids at school tease him relentlessly. When he ruins the sweater 'by accident,' Clara just makes others, each more ghastly than the last. To restore his neatly ordered life and save face on the playground, Lester must find a way to stop the endless parade of horrifying sweaters once and for all. Enter a fashion nightmare and embrace your inner clown in this world premiere musical based on the charming 2012 book by K.G. Campbell.
