BRIC Wins Two 2017 NY Emmy Awards for Outstanding Achievement in Television

BRIC, the leading presenter of free cultural programming in Brooklyn, is pleased to announce that it received two New York Emmy Awards during the 60th annual ceremony that took place on Saturday, May 6 at the Marriott Marquis in Times Square, Manhattan. Hundreds of television and media professionals gathered to celebrate as The New York Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts conferred Emmy Awards for programmatic distinction in various categories among long-standing and prominent outlets such as WNBC-TV, WCBS-TV, Thirteen/WNET and HuffingtonPost.com.

Burning Coal Theatre Company will open its 17th season with the U.S. Premiere of The Heretic by Richard Bean. The production will run September 12 - 29, 2013 at the Murphey School, 224 Polk Street, Raleigh, NC. Performances are Thursdays through Saturdays at 7:30 pm (September 12 - 14, 19 - 21 and 26 - 28, 2013) and Sundays at 2 pm (September 15, 22, 29, 2013).
