Prop Thtr Announces Casting And Production Team For THE CLEANUP at The Athenaeum Center
Prop Thtr has announced the cast and production team for its world premiere of Hallie Palladino's THE CLEANUP, directed by Jen Poulin. Featuring Lucy Carapetyan, Lynnette Li, Chad Patterson, and Brandon Rivera, the show runs at the Athenaeum Center for Thought & Culture on October 21 - November 19, 2022 with previews October 13 - 16 and October 20.

Prop Thtr is debuting the comedy Alone, With Friends... on June 30, 2017. The play is written by Lee Peters and directed by Alexander St. John. Gay or straight, being dumped sucks. After his first serious relationship ends, Steven Hilton (Jonathan Rivera) seeks advice and comfort from his circle of friends. Through several humorous, revealing and honest moments, Steven realizes he may be looking for love in the wrong places. Along the way, he discovers that friends can be your true soulmates.

Commedia Beauregard, a Chicago-based theatre company, announces the publication of three play collections as part of its Master Works short play festival. This is the seventh time that Commedia Beauregard has held the festival, which translates paintings to the stage, but the first time the plays will be available in print. The new scripts include works based on the paintings of Rembrandt, Van Gogh and Degas. This year's offering, Master Works: The Degas Plays will also be performed at the Den Theatre for one weekend only -- today, May 29th through June 1st, 2014. Shows are scheduled for Thursday through Saturday at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday at 3:00 p.m.

Their upcoming summer show, Corleone: The Shakespearean Godfather continues their film-to-Shakespeare season and will be presented at the Greenhouse Theater Center from June 1-24, 2012.
