Chris Logan Carter discovered passion for the performing arts in his late teens. Growing up with limited exposure to theatre, Chris spent his childhood immersed in movies, crafts, and imaginative games. His journey into the world of acting began at 19 when he joined the local community theatre. Just a year later, he landed his first paid role, igniting a fervor for live theatre that would span the next decade.
Chris is best known for his compelling performance as Alan Strang in "Equus" with Cincinnati Landmark Productions, his innovative One-Man Show, "Bah Humbug! A Christmas Carol" with The Children's Theatre of Cincinnati, and his spirited portrayal of SpongeBob SquarePants in "The SpongeBob Musical" with RiseUp! Performing Arts. His one-man adaptation of the beloved holiday classic earned the BroadwayWorld Cincinnati Best Show Award in 2019.
In 2023, Chris expanded his field by collaborating with the Cincinnati Chamber Orchestra for a concert titled "Beethoven Reconstructed," during which he portrayed Ludwig van Beethoven, narrating portions of the Heiligenstadt Testament alongside his 5th Symphony. The following year, he delighted audiences as the Narrator for "Goldilocks and the Three Dinosaurs" with the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra, a unique adaptation aimed at engaging young listeners in classical music.
During his early twenties, Chris balanced his artistic pursuits with various jobs, including serving and barista roles at breakfast/brunch establishments. He also spent two years as a Carpenter's Apprentice, gaining an invaluable set of practical skills. Beyond acting, Chris enjoys crafting, cooking, reading, listening to podcasts, and spending time with his Corgi mix, Joey.
