BWW Review: THE WIPERS TIMES, Richmond Theatre

Amid the horrors of the First World War, The Wipers Times is the unlikely, but true, story of when two officers found a printing press in the bombed out remains of Ypres (Wipers was the soldier's nickname for the town) and decided to produce a satirical paper to lift the spirits of the men. The paper could not print any details of the war due to censorship and so it concentrated on the absurd side of life in the trenches by lampooning the government, generals and mocking all the conditions of war.
West End Announces Cast for LOVESONG OF THE ELECTRIC BEAR

Following rave reviews and a sell out run at The Hope Theatre in Islington last February, Lovesong of the Electric Bear transfers to the intimate surroundings of the West End's newest immersive studio at The Arts Theatre this November.   The acclaimed production, directed by Hope Theatre Artistic Director, Matthew Parker, tells the sometimes comic but ultimately tragic story of a true hero. This is the story of the man who cracked the Enigma Code and in so doing cut short the Second World War saving thousands of lives.  Written by the celebrated British playwright Snoo Wilson, Lovesong of an Electric Bear is a surreal rollercoaster ride, which takes the audience on a dizzying journey through the world of Alan Turing.

BWW Reviews: GHOST STORIES, Arts Theatre, Feb 27 2014

Andy Nyman and Jeremy Dyson's 'Ghost Stories' began in Liverpool back in 2010. Since then it's been seen by over 300,000 people in London, Toronto and Moscow. Despite so many people already surviving watching this show, I still genuinely thought I could be seeing the end of my life in the Arts Theatre in London...
