Armonk Players present Thornton Wilder's OUR TOWN
The Armonk Players celebrates its 20th anniversary with Thornton Wilder's Pulitzer Prize-winning play. Our Town transports us to Grover's Corners, a place of secret wishes and disappointments, loves and losses, where the people we encounter are shockingly like the ones in our own lives today. Meet Emily (Dakota Martin) and George (Justin Thomas). They've grown up together in their small town, falling in love in a surprisingly complicated way. Their lives provide the lens through which the story is told, a story that focuses on a village but encompasses the eternal, finding the world in a grain of sand.

BWW Interview: Christine DiTota And Auggie Abatecola of PETER PAN at Yorktown Stage
PETER PAN, one of the most crowd-pleasing shows ever presented at Yorktown Stage, is about to fly high once more, entertaining audiences for the start of the holiday season. The perennial family favorite, which has played in front of 10,000 people at this venue in recent years, will have weekend matinee and evening performances during Thanksgiving week of Nov. 21-29.
SPOILER ALERT! Recap and Review: Major Superstars Shine as THE VOICE Crowns Season 7 Champion!
Today I had a lengthy Twitter discussion with a few passionate fans of THE VOICE about the increasingly complicated impact of iTunes purchases on the crowning of a champion. Unlike in previous weeks, there is no iTunes x10 bonus tonight, but the contestants will get cumulative credit for every song sold on iTunes starting with Top 12 week. I wanted to link to the official voting rules on NBC's website, but mysteriously they have taken it down since this morning; adding even more full to the conspiracy fire that always surrounds the finales of competition reality shows. If you want to try and prognosticate based on iTunes rankings from around the end of voting, PopVortex has a good breakdown.
Watch: THE VOICE Finalists Perform Original Songs, Premiere Videos Tonight
In a music competition show first, Chris Jamison, Matt McAndrew, Damien and Craig Wayne Boyd all performed original songs in tonight's two-hour telecast that serves as part one of the two-night finale of season seven of NBC's Emmy Award-winning musical competition series 'The Voice.' The artists also released original videos for their songs. Check them out below!
SPOILER ALERT! Recap and Review: THE VOICE Final Four Sing on Performance Finale 12/15; Full Review and Pictures!
Well, nearly three months after Adam Levine, Gwen Stefani, Pharrell Williams, and Blake Shelton first hit their 'I Want You' buttons on Season 7 of THE VOICE, we have made it to the finale. 70 artists auditioned for the coaches, 48 were chosen for a team, 20 sang for America's vote, and now only four remain with the hope of being crowned this season's champion. Chris Jamison, Craig Wayne Boyd, Matt McAndrew, and the Wild Card-winning Damien will sing tonight.
SPOILER ALERT! Recap and Review: THE VOICE's Final Five Sing Twice as a Favorite Emerges from the Semifinals
Ok, things are getting real on NBC's THE VOICE tonight. Five artists will compete in the Semifinals hoping to secure a spot in next week's Season Seven finale. If last season is any indication, two of the semifinalists will be eliminated on Tuesday, but with THE VOICE's track-record of mixing up their format, you can never quite be sure. Case and point, on Tuesday's Results Show, eliminated contestants will have a chance to sing and earn another chance at the title. Will it be just the seven singers eliminated since Week 1's mass elimination of eight? Hopefully we will get some clarification during tonight's episode.
SPOILER ALERT! Recap and Review: THE VOICE Says Goodbye to Three Singers, 12/Full Results!
Tonight is a big night for THE VOICE as Carson Daly will mercilessly eliminate three aspiring superstars; not cool Daly, not cool. As I alluded to in my recap from last night, the rapid elimination of contestants on this show is one of the many reasons that it continues to trail far behind AMERICAN IDOL in terms of entertainment value and audience-competitor connection, despite the fact that THE VOICE continues to lap AI in terms of talent.
SPOILER ALERT! Recap and Review: THE VOICE's Top-8 Deliver Rocky Performances; Full Results!
We are down to eight singers vying for the Season Seven title on THE VOICE. Thus far, America has been completely unreliable in determining the best singer in the competition. In successive weeks, we have lost two of the most entertaining vocalists in the competition (Sugar Joans and Anita Antoinette) and we have twice seen the singing automaton Ryan Sill receive the Twitter Instant Save.
THE VOICE: Top 12 Results Show 11/18 FULL RESULTS!
Last night's episode of THE VOICE was packed with powerful voices (obviously), memorable performances and as always, the fun banter between the coaches. But tonight, all of that fun turned to drama, stress and Instant Saves...The Results Show! Tonight the Top 12 dwindled to the Top 10, and I've recapped all of the action for you!
