Broadway stars went out in style last night at Second Stage's annual gala. Among those in attendance were Billy Porter, Alice Ripley, Lindsay Mendez, Benj Pasek, Justin Paul, Celia Keenan-Bolger, Tom Kitt, Adam Chanler-Berat, Denee Benton, David Cromer, Itamar Moses, Kellen Blair, and Joe Kinosian.

The Broadway at Birdland concert series was proud to present NY1 theater journalist Frank DiLella in the second episode of his new talk show, 'Show Biz After Hours With Frank DiLella.' The event was taped in front of a sold-out audience on Monday, January 11, with Frank's very special guest Jonathan Groff, who is currently starring on Broadway as King George in the smash hit HAMILTON. Frank had several guests on hand to surprise Groff, including friends Tituss Burgess, Alyse Alan Louis, Jenni Barber, and his 'Looking' co-star Russell Tovey. Scroll down for photos!

The Broadway at Birdland concert series was proud to present 'Show Biz After Hours With Frank DiLella,' a new talk/variety show hosted by the popular NY1 theater journalist. The first 'episode' took place on Monday, October 26, and Frank's guests included Laura Osnes and Corey Cott (the stars of THE BANDSTAND at Paper Mill Playhouse), original JERSEY BOY Daniel Reichard, Ali Stroker (one of the stars of SPRING AWAKENING) and the Tony nominated star of LEGALLY BLONDE, Orfeh. There was a happening on West 44th Street! For a week, Chita Rivera brought her joyful, razzle-dazzling nightclub act to Birdland, which she calls her favorite room in the city. “These walls are filled with the best music! Playing Birdland just makes me feel cool,” she proclaimed. As if her iconic Broadway career wasn't cool enough, “Chita's Back” was a concert for the history books – with the ever-youthful legend in fine fettle; singing, dancing and telling some of the best insider stories any theater-lover could hope for. Material from Bye Bye Birdie, Chicago, Kiss of the Spider Woman, West Side Story and The Visitwere included, as well as a James Taylor duet with daughter, Lisa Mordente. The swinging was band led by guitarist/percussionist Michael Croiter, with Michael Patrick Walker on piano, Jim Donica on bass, and Dan Willis on saxophone.
