PETER PAN GOES WRONG, the funniest disaster
If productions could be labelled as over-achievers, then this show would definitely sit right on top of that category for all the best reasons. For two hours, I was gasping for air as I couldn't stop laughing. I feel sorry for the patrons sitting around me, as I'm sure their ears will be ringing for quite some time of my high-pitched laughter. After receiving a large donation from the uncle of a pompous actor Max, The Cornley Polytechnic Drama Society return to Brisbane's shores with Peter Pan Goes Wrong and to say that it is hilarious is an understatement.
BWW Feature: Local Theatre Academy Meets 'Once on This Island' on Broadway
A young group of actors from Long Island had the experience of a lifetime as they journeyed to New York City in November to see a performance of the Broadway revival Once on This Island, currently playing at Circle in the Square. Since September, the children and their production team at Stagelight Academy, based in Lindenhurst, NY, have been working on their own production of Once on This Island Jr. Following the Broadway performance, they met with producers and actors and revelled in the excitement and inspiration of seeing the show they would soon stage back home.
John Pizzarelli & Jessica Molaskey Returning to Cafe Carlyle, 11/3-28

This concert includes presentation of vintage and rarely seen photographs and historical facts about each of these ladies, plus stories of the songs themselves, with photographs of the songwriters who created them.
