Charlotte Miller's RAISING JO Set to Open June 5th at Theatre Row

Charlotte Miller's Raising Jo will receive a workshop production June 5th-10th at the Studio Theater at Theater Row. Directed by Julie Kline, the cast will feature Sarah Jes Austell (Showtime's Sweetbitter ), Chris Bellant ( Loserville ), Charlotte Graham (ART's The Tempest ), Anna Holbrook (Daytime Emmy Winner, Another World ) and Steve Payne (Albee's Me, Myself & I ). Waldorf Entertainment and Yuriy Pavlish are producing.
Writers Announced for EXPECTING (THE WORST) at Rattlestick

The lineup of writers has been announced for 'Expecting (The Worst)', a night of new plays at Rattlestick Playwrights Theater on February 27th at 7pm. The night will feature new works written by Kara Lee Corthron ( AliceGraceAnon at New George's), Jessica Dickey (Steppenwolf's The Rembrandt ) , Brett C. Leonard ( The Long Red Road at The Goodman Theater) , Ren Santiago ( The Siblings Play at Cherry Lane) and Daniel Talbott ( Slipping at Rattlestick). Casting will be announced at a later date.
Kevin Pollak & Grace Phipps in Negotiations to Join Cast of THE LOST YEAR

Kevin Pollak and Grace Phipps are in negotiations to join the cast of Ryan O'Leary's upcoming film THE LOST YEAR. The film will be produced by Anthony Pedone's Film Exchange. Chris Bellant (“Loserville”) and Amy Bruckner (“Phil of the Future”) will round out the main cast.

Thieves tells the story of a dysfunctional family in East Texas that descends into chaos when their matriarch dies. Performances begin Wednesday, March 18, 2015. After the critical success of its recent Lucille Lortel Award winning Off-Broadway production of Martin Moran's All the Rage (produced with piece by piece productions), acclaimed new play company Rising Phoenix Repertory presents the world premiere of RPR Company Member Sarah Shaefer's new play F**king Immaculate. Building on the company's successful downtown site-specific play series Cino Nights, Rising Phoenix Rep is attempting to grow and expand on its innovative development/production process for new plays, building in a longer rehearsal period and focusing on an even more intimate and immersive experience for artists and audiences alike. The plays will be staged in an Upper West Side apartment to be disclosed to patrons who make reservations in advance. Seating is strictly limited to ten people per night.

A Queer Theater Company has announced a strictly limited run of their bare bones, developmental production of Daniel Talbott's new drama GRAY, featuring Chris Bellant (Fairfield), Will Pullen (Scarcity, Punk Rock), and Samantha Soule (Killers and Other Family, And I And Silence). The play will be staged for five bare bones performances only at the Susan Batson Studio--300 West 43rd Street, Room 510--January 19th, 20th, 21st, 22nd and 23rd, all at 2 p.m.

'Zurich, New York' is a cycle of three new plays by three playwrights: 'Repast' by Lindsay Joy, 'Rocks' by Charlotte Miller and 'When You Go' by Alex Riad. Each play takes place on the same day on a dock in Zurich: a fictional lake-side town in upstate New York and will be performed at The Tank (on 151 West 46th Street) from May 16-31.
