Performer, teacher, and choreographer Alan Onickel will be making his Green Room 42 debut in That Instant. Beginning in South Africa with a life-altering near-fatal car crash, this autobiographical show follows Alan from his visit to 'Coma Land' through multiple surgeries, therapies, doctors, pharmaceuticals, recuperation and finally his return to New York City. Music composed by the incomparable Drama Desk and Helen Hayes award winner Ed Dixon and played by gifted Musical Director Chip Prince. Everyone deals with obstacles in life. That Instant tells of Alan Onickel's unpredictable journey surviving those hurdles.

When Al Carmines introduced audiences to Rappings on December 14, 1969, they had come to expect the surprising range and inventiveness of this multiple Obie-award winner, but perhaps not an evening that faithfully tells the Christmas story through such a high-spirited, often funny, collision of musical genres, from country to classical to blues to gospel, and even with a rousing tango.

Inspired By Love featured selections from composer Brett Macias's musicals Gumbo, Beautiful Dreamer, and Beneath the Surface as well as a world premiere song cycle based on the love sonnets of Pablo Neruda. Guided by the skilled hands of musicdirector, Christopher Lloyd Bratten, and hosted by Broadway's talented and funny Kate Pazakis this night is sure to be a fun and entertaining evening for every musical theater lover in LA. For the month of August, the event will include special guest co-host Barrett Foa (Broadway's Avenue Q and CBS's "NCIS:LA"). The evening is produced by Rockwell: Table & Stage Artistic Director Shane Scheel and Program Manager Ben Caron.
