NYC's Royal Family Productions, a theatre company known for its innovative productions and development of new original work, will remount Chris Henry's popular adaptation of the novel Anne of Green Gables: Part 1 by Lucy Maud Montgomery. This one-woman show has been adapted and directed by Chris Henry and movement by Lorna Ventura.
GHOSTS AND GASLIGHTING to Make Off-Broadway Premiere
GHOSTS AND GASLIGHTING, a new horror comedy by NYC playwright Erin Moughon, is an official selection of the 2019 Broadway Bound Theatre Festival. The show is set to have its world premiere Off-Broadway at The Lion Theater in the Theatre Row complex on 42nd Street. Opening night will be August 8, 2019, with an additional performances on August 13th & 16th. This is Moughon's third time working with the BBTF festival with her prior production of SNOW WHITE PADDED ROOM (2017) and reading of SHUT UP YOUR TRUTH (2018)
ANNE OF GREEN GABLES, PART 1 Comes to Royal Family Performing Arts Center
After a successful workshop in 2017, Royal Family Productions (Chris Henry, Artistic Director), a Times Square based non-profit theatre company known for its innovative productions and development of new original work, is proud to announce the World Premiere of Anne of Green Gables: Part Istarring Broadway's Ali Ewoldt (Phantom of the Opera, Les Mis) as Anne. Based onLucy Maud Montgomery'sbeloved novel, this production is adapted and directed by Chris Henry with choreography by Lorna Ventura and will begin performances on January 24th - February 11, 2019 with an opening night set for Monday, January 28 at 6:30pm. And a workshop presentation of Anne of Green Gables: Part II(January 31 - February 10). Ali Ewoldt and Doreen Montalvo Will Lead Two Parts of ANNE OF GREEN GABLES
Royal Family Productions (Chris Henry, Artistic Director), a Times Square based non-profit theatre company known for its innovative productions and development of new original work, has announced the complete cast for the workshop presentation of Anne of Green Gables: Part II as well as the the World Premiere of Anne of Green Gables: Part I. Doreen Montalvo (On Your Feet, In the Heights) will be portraying Anne in a workshop presentation of Anne of Green Gables: Part II (January 31 - February 10). She is joined by dancers Mindy Lai (LCT: The King and I) and Erica Misilo. Joining the previously-announced Ali Ewoldt (Phantom of the Opera, Les Miserables) in Anne of Green Gables: Part I are dancers Brooke Averi, Nichole Forde, Hannah Hall, Kara Menendez, Stephanie Young, and understudy Juna Shai.

Royal Family Productions, a non-profit theatre company known for its innovative productions and development of new original work, will extend its acclaimed production of WOMEN ON FIRE: Stories from the Frontlines to accommodate the demand. WOMEN ON FIRE is written, curated, and directed by Royal Family artistic director Chris Henry from stories told to her by a group of anonymous women, with choreography from Lorna Ventura. The show began performances on May 11 and extended twice due to popular demand and critical and industry acclaim.
