Sydney Philharmonia Choirs Announces 2022 Season
Programmed by long-standing Artistic & Music Director, Brett Weymark OAM, this richly diverse season traverses choral classics by Mozart, Bach, Haydn and Handel; the glorious colours of Puccini; living repertoire by Pēteris Vasks and Eric Whitacre; and six newly commissioned short works from local Sydney composers Jessica Wells, Aija Draguns, Tomas Parrish-Cheynoweth, Aiden Rosa, Maria Lopes, and Melbourne’s Stuart Greenbaum.
INHERIT THE WIND Announced At Kelsey Theatre
It's the 1920s and a Tennessee schoolteacher has been arrested and put on trial for teaching Darwin's Theory of Evolution. Forte Dramatic Productions presents the acclaimed play "Inherit the Wind" at Mercer County Community College's (MCCC's) Kelsey Theatre. Dates and show times for this powerful drama are Fridays, May 24 and 31 at 8 p.m.; Saturdays, May 25 and June 1 at 8 p.m.; and Sundays, May 26 and June 2 at 2 p.m.
Investec Opera Holland Park Offers Hope For Grenfell One Year On
Investec Opera Holland Park (OHP) marked one year since the tragic Grenfell fire with the Hope for Grenfell Memorial Gala on Wednesday, 13 June. The concert was given in memory of Debbie Lamprell, a much-loved member of OHP's staff who was lost in the disaster, and all the fire's victims. All proceeds will be donated to the Rugby Portobello Trust (RPT) and the final total is still being calculated, but it is hoped to exceed £100k.

Deborah Humble to Give Adelaide Concert
Lovers of opera will be delighted with the opportunity to hear the incomparable voice of international Mezzo-Soprano Deborah Humble who, accompanied by pianist Sharolyn Kemmorley AM and the ASO's Imants Larsens, performs in Adelaide on 11 February. Deborah will join the audience for afternoon tea following the performance. which is included in the ticket price.
