HEAD OVER HEELS Comes to the Marietta Theatre Company Next Month

Marietta Theatre Company will present, 'Head Over Heels', a musical comedy with music and lyrics from the catalog of The Go-Go's at the newly formed Alley Stage (11 Anderson Street, Marietta 30060). Jeff Whitty conceived the show and wrote the original book, which was then later adapted by James Magruder.

11th Hour Theatre Company Showcases Musical In Development SOMETHING LIKE A WAR

11th Hour Theatre Company is welcoming audiences into the development process of its next musical comission. The company is presenting a concert performance of the commissioned brand-new Civil War musical, Something Like A War with Music and Lyrics by Jake Blouch and a Book by Jesse Bernstein. The concert is directed by Jerrell L. Henderson and Dan Kazemi is the Music Director. The concert will be May 17-19 at The Louis Bluver Theatre at the Drake, 341 South Hicks Street. The Philadelphia Artists' Collective returns to the Philadelphia FringeArts Festival with a hauntingly beautiful site-specific work by the famous author of Peter Pan. Mary Rose, by J.M. Berrie, will be presented both inside the historic and ornate mansion - and outside under the stars in the cemetery itself. The show runs for a total of 12 performances through September 22, 2018. All shows are at 7:00pm. Woodlands offers patrons free parking and the cemetery is just one block from a major SEPTA bus hub. Tickets are $20 to $25 each. Curio Theatre Company To Open Season With Arthur Miller's ALL MY SONS

Curio Theatre Company opens its 2018-2019 Season with an American classic. The company's 14th Season, begins with a beloved Arthur Miller work that audiences will see through a new lens. Curio is presenting Miller's All My Sons October 10-November 3. The official press opening is Saturday, October 13 at 8 p.m. Industry Night is Monday, October 15 at 8 p.m. and there is a matinee performance October 27 at 2 p.m. Tickets are $15-$30 and are available online at www.curiotheatre.org or by phone at 215-921-8243. Curio Theatre Company closes its 13th Season with the North American premiere of Peeoplykus' adaptation of Gustave Flaubert's classic novel Madam Bovary. In 2013, Curio Theatre Company had a hit in its hilarious production of Hound of Baskerville adapted by Peepolykus (pronounced people-like-us), UK's most exciting touring theatre company. The Massive Tragedy of Madame Bovary runs April 26-May 20. Opening Night is Friday April 28. Deeply controversial in its time, productions of this 1926 play were censored, and its producers and actors jailed. The Captive will be produced inside Society Hill's Physick House at 321 S. 4th Street. The historic townhouse in fact will be the perfect co-conspirator as the secrets and heated private moments unfold. PAC co-founding Artistic Director Dan Hodge directs the talented cast led by well-known Rachel Brodeur and newcomer Chase Byrd.
