Neiman Marcus is producing a special treat for our audience this year with a rare exclusivea?"they will be privileged to be the first fashionistas to view the Southern California debut of the fabulous Marchesa Couture Pre-Fall and Fall 2020 collections.

The Old Globe invites people of all ages from San Diego and beyond to join us once again in celebrating our resident playwright William Shakespeare with Happy Birthday, Mr. Shakespeare! on Saturday, April 20 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on the Globe's campus in Balboa Park. The Bard's birthday-his 455th!-is a fitting and festive reason to recognize his countless contributions to arts and culture around the world. This exciting day for the whole family will include birthday games and activities, hosted by Globe Arts Engagement Programs Associate and Teaching Artist Damon J. Shearer.

The Globe Guilders are pleased to announce Celebrating Couture 2019, their 29th annual fashion show and luncheon, presented by Neiman Marcus, to benefit The Old Globe's artistic and arts engagement programs and to support the impact the Globe makes in our community and across the nation. Neiman Marcus is producing a special treat this year of a rare exclusive for our audience -they will be privileged to be the first fashionistas to view the West Coast debut of fabulous couturier Marchesa's 2019 Fall Couture Collection, following the initial show presented at New York Fashion Week.
TCG Announces Grants for Mid-Career, Veteran Theatre Professionals
Theatre Communications Group (TCG) announces the 2015 Round 3 Cycle A recipients of the Leadership U[niversity]-Continuing Ed program. Through the support of The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation, grants of up to $5,000 will support four mid-career and veteran theatre professionals at TCG Member Theatres for learning opportunities to advance their leadership skills. The goal of this program is to strengthen the field by developing the individuals who are the core and the future of theatre.
