Broadway's Andrea Rivette to Perform at Firehouse, 2/9
Firehouse Theatre Project once again brings Broadway to Richmond with a one night only performance by Richmond Theatre Critics Circle (RTCC) Award winner Andrea Rivette, Sunday, February 9th at 8pm. Featuring RTCC Award winner - and her costar from Cadence Theatre's Next to Normal - Terence Sullivan, the evening will include hits Cabaret, I Dreamed a Dream, Gimme Gimme, I Miss the Mountains, Someone Like You and more Broadway favorites. Based on the popular film, Elf tells the heartwarming story of Buddy, an orphaned baby who crawls into Santa's toy bag and is accidentally taken to the North Pole. Buddy is raised as an elf until his size and inept toy-making skills force him to face the facts. So, he heads to New York to meet his newly discovered human father, a children's book publisher who turns out to be quite the Grinch. It seems his dad's on the naughty list, his half-brother doesn't believe in Santa and New York is completely lacking in Christmas spirit. It's up to Buddy to bring his new family together and save Christmas for all!

FIDDLER Leads Barrymore Award Nominations; Ceremony Set for 10/4

Philadelphia Theatre Company Extends LIGHT IN THE PIAZZA Thru 12/13
Responding to the popular demand for tickets, Philadelphia Theatre Company is extending its production of the multiple Tony Award-winning musical, The Light in the Piazz, until Sunday, December 13. Performances for the extension week will follow the current schedule, with shows on Tuesdays at 6:30, Wednesdays at 1:00 and 7:00, Thursdays and Fridays at 8:00, Saturdays at 2:00 and 8:00, and Sundays at 3:00.
