Orchestra Of St. Luke's Online Series BACH AT HOME Delayed To June 23
Bach at Home, Orchestra of St. Luke's (OSL) curated online Festival, will launch on June 9 and continue through June 30, 2020, with content released each consecutive Tuesday at 12:00 pm ET. The digital Festival re-conceives the 2020 OSL Bach Festival that would have taken place in June during the same period but was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Bach at Home will be comprised of over 30 video performances, as well as original interviews, discussions, essays, and additional archived content that will be available at OSLmusic.org/Bach.
Orchestra Of St. Luke's Has Announces Details Of Its Second Bach Festival
Orchestra of St. Luke's (OSL) today announced detailed programming for the second annual OSL Bach Festival, spanning three weeks from June 9-30, 2020, with concerts and masterclasses across four venues in Manhattan-including three orchestral concerts at Carnegie Hall-and featuring guest artists cellist Pieter Wispelwey, harpsichordist Jean Rondeau, and soprano Amanda Forsythe. The OSL Bach Festival was launched last June to great success as part of the first season of esteemed Baroque and Classical Music specialist Bernard Labadie as OSL Principal Conductor.

The New York Dance & Arts Innovations (NYDAI) presents the New Vision concert, as part of the 21st Chopin & Friends Festival between Nov. 8- 26, 2019. The festival showcases innovative artists who emulate Chopin in uniting the traditional and the modern, the young and the mature, the national and the universal, in all the art forms. NYDAI is the founding sponsor of this popular fall celebration. New Visions of Moniuszko 'Words in music' concert will be presented at the Polish Consulate General in New York City at 8pm on Nov. 21, 2019.
