Lynne Meadow (Artistic Director) and Barry Grove (Executive Producer) have announced this year's six recipients of the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation Initiative commissions. The commissioned writers are Kate Attwell, Mia Chung, Noah Diaz, Julia Izumi, Ife Olujobi, and Stacey Rose.

It tells the tale of Hugh Pendleton, an actor drained of artistic passion after having played the character of Scrooge one too many times, which leads to Pendleton encountering three ghosts of his own. The production will feature Max Baker (1984, The Explorers Club), Jasmine Batchelor (The River), Rosal Colon ('Orange is the New Black,' Between Riverside and Crazy), Curran Connor (Pidgeon, A Picture of Autumn), Garcia ('Tales of the City'), Darren Goldstein (Lillian Hellman's The Little Foxes, The Madrid), Alex Hurt (Cardinal, The Whirligig) and Megan Ketch (The Big Wedding, 'American Gothic').

Cape May Stage, a premiere professional not-for-profit Equity theatre, is focused on yet another captivating, record-breaking season. The 2018 season will feature five main stage plays in the intimate Robert Shackleton Playhouse. Roy Steinberg, producing artistic director says, 'We will be using our 30th Anniversary season to look at plays from the past as well as looking to the future with new plays that are launched here at Cape May Stage. This special season will feature favorite actors and former directors from years past as we leap into our next chapter.'
