Today the American Flag Football League (AFFL) and NFL Network announced an agreement to broadcast 11 live AFFL games, and distribute highlights from the AFFL's 2018 U.S. Open of Football (USOF) Tournament; a 132 team, single-elimination tournament that will ultimately pit a team of elite former professionals against a team that has conquered a 128 team open national bracket.

VH1 Pulls EV AND OCHO Reality Series Due to Johnson Arrest

VH1 has announced that it is pulling its new reality series EV AND OCHO from its schedule before it has even debuted. The show starred newlyweds Chad Johnson, formerly known as Chad Ochocinco, and Evelyn Lozada. The move was in response to a confrontation last weekend between Johnson and his wife that led to the arrest of the Miami Dolphins football player. Johnson has been charged in a domestic battery case.

The series is a mix of Ochocinco's on-field charisma blended with the drama of the dating pool played out in a bracket-style dating tournament. The special 90-minute premiere episode airs on Sunday, July 11 at 9:00 PM*. Also premiering on the same night is 'The T.O. Show' Season 2. ABC won the final complete Nielsen week of the 2009-10 TV Season (w/o 5/17/10) among Adults 18-49 (2.9/9), beating Fox by 7% (2.7/9), CBS by 32% (2.2/7) and NBC by 53% (1.9/6). Excluding only 'Academy Award' and 'Super Bowl' weeks, it represented the first-ever victory for ABC over Fox during a week with 'American Idol.' The Net also ranked No. 1 for the week with Adults 18-34 (2.4/8) and Adults 25-54 (3.6/10).
