BIO
CHAD HEWITT is a leading man and respected character actor, especially remembered for his many successful collaborations in Columbus, OH. His roles have included Nick in Edward Albee's WHO'S AFRAID OF VIRGINIA WOOLF, Orin Scrivello in Howard Ashman and Alan Menken's LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS, Allen in Erik Champney's THE SCREENS, Joe the Ladybug in Mark Harvey Levine's IN THE JAR, Tidy the Llama in Joseph E. Green's CLOWNTIME IS OVER, The Man in Kelly Lusk's A COUPLE OF INAPPROPRIATE JOKES AND A STORY (OR TWO), Neal in Pete Bakely's SKILLET TAG, The Man in Kirsten Easton's THE LOVERS, David in Brandon Ferraro's QUIET PENINSULA, Actor 1 in Mark Henry Levine's TEN PICNICS, Clem in Mark Harvey Levine's WORKIN' ON THE RAILROAD. Spencer in Neil Haven's THE PLAYDATERS, Leroy in Josh Hartwell's BROKEN DAUGHTERS, The Man in Barbara Lindsay's HOLY HELL, and Tim in Alex Dremann's THE :NV:S:BLE PLAY.
Chad has also directed Michael Christofer's THE SHADOW BOX and played Stan Francisco in the web series THE MINION. He received a Bachelors in British and Commonwealth English Literature from Franciscan University of Steubenville, later followed by a Masters in Leadership for Creative Enterprises from Northwestern University.

Evergreen divas and surprise guests entertain with an evening of cabaret-style Broadway music with all proceeds from this weekend's performances go to support Evergreen Players! Performances are Friday and Saturday at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday at 2:00 p.m. at CenterStage, 27608 Fireweed Drive, Evergreen, CO, 80439.

MadLab Theatre has announced their new artistic director will be Jim Azelvandre, effective January 1, 2016. Azelvandre, MadLab's sixth artistic director, will replace current Artistic Director Andy Batt who has decided to move on to other artistic endeavors.

Web Series THE MINION Launches Today
From Katrina Rouge and OGP comes a web series about taking over the world, starting at the ground level. Chad Hewitt stars as Stan Francisco, an entry level worker at e-Ville, trying to navigate his way through office politics, relationships, and shark propeller requisitions. Francisco is just trying to make his way in the world, but others have bigger plans for him.

MadLab will present The Young Writers Short Play Festival, a collection of ten short plays written by eleven Columbus area high school students. MadLab is a non-profit organization that provides an artistic haven for the creation and experience of original works. Part of that effort involves giving young people the opportunity to create original works. This festival was born from that goal. MadLab sought out submissions from area high schools and chose the best plays to produce. Student playwrights will work with experienced local playwrights to help them with their plays.
