BIO

Celeste Lanuza, MFA UC Irvine, BFA University of the Arts in Philly, has performed roles at La Jolla Playhouse, Old Globe Theater, Guthrie Theater, and San Diego Repertory Theater to name a few. Some favorite roles are Antonia Hernandez in A Woman Named Gloria by Josefinal Lopez, Amelia in Mother Road by Octavio Solis, and Anita in West Side Story. Lanuza played the principal role of Duende in Maria de Buenos Aires with SD Opera, Arizona Opera, and Fort Worth Opera as the first US born and female in this role after Horacio Ferrer. Celeste has also written and produced her musical. Celeste has also choreographed the film Huella on Amazon Prime, performing at Radio City Hall, Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, and was a quarter finalist on the TV show Tengo Talento Mucho Talento.
