On Today, November 9, at 9:30 p.m. at The Green Room 42, 570 10th Ave, 4th Floor inside YOTEL,New York, NY 10036, youthful stars of stage and screen are coming together again for the second annual benefit concert for Covenant House New York, #WeHaveAVoice2. #WeHaveAVoice2 will be an energized night of songs, including pop, rock, r & b, oldies, original pieces, and more, but without show tunes or jazz hands. The Public Theatre has announced a free performance of the Liz Swados musical RUNAWAYS on Tuesday, June 12 at 8pm, at the Delacorte Theater in Central Park. Public Theater Announces Free Encore Performance of Runaways June 12
The Public Theater (Artistic Director, Oskar Eustis; Executive Director, Patrick Willingham) announced today that there will be a free added public performance of the groundbreaking and thought-provoking musical RUNAWAYS by Elizabeth Swados on Tuesday, June 12 at the Delacorte Theater. Directed by Sam Pinkleton, with choreography by Ani Taj, and creative advisement by Jeanine Tesori, the additional performance will celebrate the 40th anniversary of this milestone production that first premiered at The Public in 1978 and continues to be a definitive moment in Public Theater history.

On October 15, teens from stage and screen came together at The Green Room 42 to perform a show they created, entitled #WeHaveaVoice. They played to a packed, sold-out house, singing songs with themes relevant to them including dreams and aspirations, belonging, family, and love. Their benefit concert raised over $2,500 for Covenant House, an organization they felt is important, relevant, and in need of their help, especially after the devastating weather that caused damage to seven of their shelters.
