RED BULL THEATER has announced details of its plans for 2024, celebrating its 20th Anniversary. Highlights include the rolling world premiere of Medea: Re-Versed opening Off-Broadway; a new season of OBIE Award-winning Revelation Readings with an all-star line-up (offered both in-person and online); and an all-new season of the popular Red Bull Theater Podcasts (formerly known as RemarkaBULL Podversations), intimate behind the scenes conversations with great artists.
The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey Presents TWELFTH NIGHT
The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey (STNJ) concludes its 60th Anniversary Season with its final Main Stage production of Shakespeare's Twelfth Night. Last seen at STNJ in 2009, Jason King Jones directs one of the Bard's most celebrated comedies just in time for the holidays. Veteran company members Jon Barker, Jeffrey M. Bender, and Tony Award nominee Robert Cuccioli are among a diverse cast of 14 actors.
Final Week to See NY Classical Theatre's KING LEAR at The Battery
NY Classical Theatre, New York City’s all-free Off Broadway Equity theatre company, will complete its acclaimed run of William Shakespeare’s King Lear this week. Final performance is Sunday, August 8 at The Battery (Battery Place & Broadway). Performances are Tuesday-Sunday at 7:00 pm.
The Rep Debuts LOVE AND KINDNESS IN THE TIME OF QUARANTINE
The Repertory Theatre of St. Louis will debut a new collection of stories that offer hope, encouragement and perspective in a time of global uncertainty in an exciting new work titled Love and Kindness in the Time of Quarantine. Directed and curated by Andrew W. Mellon Foundation Playwright-in-Residence, Regina Taylor, the program will stream online for free on November 20 at 7 p.m. CST.

Arena Stage at the Mead Center for American Theater presents Octavio Solis' Mother Road, a sequel to John Steinbeck's The Grapes of Wrath. Mother Road premiered at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival in 2019 and will run at Arena Stage through March 8, 2020 in the iconic in-the-round Fichandler Stage.

By 1939. the Depression had begun to wane, but Dorothy still took a road trip to Oz to find out that there's no place like home. John Steinbeck published The Grapes of Wrath that year; the Joad family also had to leave their Oklahoma home and hit the road because the Dust Bowl was no Miss Gulch nor a dream they'd wake up from. Steinbeck called the road they took, Route 66, the Mother Road which has given Octavio Solis his title for Arena's current production through March 8.
