BIO

Hey there! I'm Cecily, my pronouns are she/they. I'm proudly pansexual! I was born in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada - it's a long story, but ask me about it some time! Dayton, Ohio is where I grew up and my parents still reside. Through my grade school years, I was lucky enough to have a number of possibilities to create freely and start a professional career, which included White Christmas at La Comedia Dinner Theatre and One Slight Hitch as well as another developmental reading at Human Race Theatre Company.

I just finished undergrad! I'm now an alumni of the Conservatory of Theatre Arts at Webster University, with a degree in musical theatre, class of 2021, and I received my degree summa cum laude. I can do silly acting things AND I'm smart.

I'm currently based in Los Angeles, California. Most recently I worked on an upcoming YouTube release of a Dhar Mann Studios episode and a PSA for Suicide Prevention entitled "Stay." Onstage, I was the lead in the new play Incident at Our Lady of Perpetual Help by Katie Forgette, again with Human Race Theatre Company, playing the lead/narrator this past spring.

Review: CABARET at CVRep

The musical Cabaret is a classic for many reasons, and no matter who produces it the dark foreboding story never fails to pack a gut punch. The impactful way Cabaret shows the divide of a country, the hate crimes of anti-Semitism and neo-Nazi white supremacy, and the meteoric rise of one of the most brutal dictators in world history. In song and dance it is a perfect lesson of “those who forget the past tend to repeat it”.

Review: FUN HOME at CV Rep

This play is a very personal, journey that’s ironically relatable. It is disquieting, to its core it's more than disturbing, yet it is often hilarious, and while much of the information we learn is not light-hearted - the musical is joyous and full of laughs until it splits you in two.
