Cecily Dionne Davis is a Georgia native born and raised just 20 miles from Atlanta. As an actress, activist and advocate, she uses her musical and Christian roots to inspire those in underrepresented communities to follow their passions. With a long background in pageantry and orchestral/theatrical performances, she is integrally rooted in all aspects of the arts. As a 2023 Howard University graduate with her BFA in Musical Theatre, it’s to no surprise that Cecily will continue the legacy of global impact that was birthed within on Howard’s Campus throughout her tenure. Upon graduation, she has become the Associate Creative Director of Black Girls Do Theater. Through her performances and philanthropic endeavors, she will ensure that creativity in her community is not met with the fear of the unknown, but with the power of faith.
