What can a group of talented writers and performers do with a Christmas theme? Surprisingly more than a spoof on good ol' Charlie Brown or a reenactment of The Nativity - no one can be quite sure what will take place at an original performance.
When Impresario Tony Trout took the stage clad in an apron, a nod to the name of his company Are We Delicious?, his delightful introduction could lead audiences to wonder. Would they be delicious?

'Walmartopia' to Close Off-Broadway December 30th
Walmartopia, the new musical currently playing Off-Broadway at The Minetta Lane Theatre, will end its current run at the Minetta Lane Theatre after the evening performance on Sunday, December 30th, it was announced today by the show's producers.

The cast and band of Off-Broadway's Walmartopia recently hit the recording studio to lay down tracks for the show's original cast recording. The recording will be produced by Walmartopia's musical director, August Eriksmoen, and will be released December 1st, just in time for the holidays.
'Walmartopia' Performs on New FOX Business Network on Oct.17
The cast of Walmartopia, the new musical currently playing Off-Broadway at The Minetta Lane Theatre, will perform the show's entire six-minute opening number on television to help launch the brand new Fox Business Network this Wednesday afternoon, November 17.
