ECLIPSE ACROSS AMERICA Live Event on ABC to Broadcast Rare Total Solar Eclipse

ABC News and National Geographic team up for 'Eclipse Across America,' a unique live event broadcasting the rare total solar eclipse. Tune in for this unprecedented celestial spectacle. The special will be anchored by “World News Tonight” anchor David Muir and “ABC News Live Prime” anchor Linsey Davis, who will be reporting from Vermont.

ABC News announced today plans to provide special daytime coverage of COVID-19 beginning Wednesday, March 18, at 1:00 p.m. EDT/12:00 p.m. CDT on ABC, temporarily replacing episodes of “GMA3: Strahan, Sara & Keke,” and at 4:00 p.m. EDT on ABC News Live. With so many new questions and growing concerns about the coronavirus outbreak, “Pandemic: What You Need to Know,” anchored by Amy Robach with the latest health and safety guidance from ABC News' chief medical correspondent Dr. Jennifer Ashton, will address the widespread issues caused by the global pandemic and offer solutions from those adjusting to a new way of life.
ABC News Announces Special Coverage Of The COVID-19 Outbreak

Today, ABC News announced special coverage of the COVID-19 outbreak, including a live two-hour “20/20” focused on the outbreak, new daily programs on ABC News Live and ABC News Radio, and a bonus edition of the “Start Here” podcast. These reports are in addition to continuing coverage across ABC News led by Chief Medical Correspondent Dr. Jennifer Ashton. ABC News Live Kicks Off All-New Original Programming in 2020

ABC News Live, America's No. 1 streaming news channel, is kicking off a bold strategy for new, original programming in 2020. By year's end, ABC News Live will air 18 hours of live and original content daily across all dayparts. The streaming channel's robust schedule will include a mix of live, anchored news programs in prime time, morning and daytime, breaking news coverage and all-new original documentaries. To kick off the first wave of new programming, ABC News has expanded the roles of correspondent Linsey Davis and chief national affairs correspondent and “World News Tonight” Weekend anchor Tom Llamas to anchor two prime-time hours streaming each weeknight and breaking news and live special event coverage, respectively. Both will continue in their broadcast roles, reporting from the field and delivering exclusive news-making interviews for all ABC News programs.
