Cassie Maurer recently graduated with a BFA in Musical Theatre from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music (CCM). Cassie has recently been seen on stage at the Wagon Wheel Center for the Arts in The Addams Family (Morticia), Brigadoon, Legally Blonde (Serena), Cinderella (Gabrielle), at CCM in Xanadu (Kira/Clio), Daddy Long Legs (Jerusha), 42nd Street (Peggy u/s), and The Secret Garden directed by Connor Gallagher, and at the Arts Center of Coastal Carolina in Legally Blonde (u/s Brooke, Serena), White Christmas, Mary Poppins, Gypsy, and Singin' In The Rain. The beloved musical story of Maria and the von Trapp Family will thrill audiences with its Tony, Grammy and Academy Award winning Best Score, including 'My Favorite Things,' 'Do-Re-Mi,' 'Climb Ev'ry Mountain,' 'Edelweiss' and the title song, 'The Sound of Music.' Based on the true story of the Von Trapp Family Singers, this play captures a personal tale of growth and hope amidst the horrors of World War II.
