On March 14th at 5 PM, Julia Lipsztein will release her new music video, 'Believer' which is a cover of the big hit from the band Imagine Dragons. The video will launch Julia's Believe In Yourself Campaign, which will promote self-confidence among our young audience.

The New York Musical Festival and Center Stage Theatre Company have announced that James Ignacio (King and I), Diego Lucano (School of Rock), Eliza Holland Madore (Matilda), Madison Mullahey (Mary Poppins, Shrek), as well as the show's own 14-year-old co-playwright, Carrie Berk (NYMF Camp Rolling Hills) will lead the company of PEACE, LOVE AND CUPCAKES: THE MUSICAL as part of the 2017 New York Musical Festival.

Little by Little, a nonprofit organization comprised of young performers from Broadway, TV and Dance communities is thrilled to have Miss Southeast Georgia Alyssa Beasley host De Novo on March 24th at the New York Creative Cultural Center, 7:30 p.m., in a benefit concert for Kevin TOKYO Inouye, a well-known dance choreographer who lost his home in a fire earlier this year. Movies to musicals and musicals to movies. It's been a regular occurrence for years, although it seems that recently it's been happening more and more. Sometimes, the transition from movie to musical, or vice versa, works perfectly and can be pulled off without a hitch. Sometimes it fails miserably. The musical version of the 1954 classic holiday movie White Christmas is neither of these things. It's not spectacular, nor is it a failure. It's uneven, at best, something that is made worse by an uneven and surprisingly disappointing production currently running at Ocean State Theatre Company.
