MadLab Theatre presents a play about the effects of mental illness entitled FINE (NOT FINE). This will be a presentation made up of letters from you, the general public, about your experiences with mental illness. The purpose of this play is help normalize these issues as well as provide a catharsis for those that may be suffering.

Announcing The 5th Annual F#CK CANCER Cabaret

Join us for two nights of entertainment and debauchery including singing, dancing, improv and much more. Proceeds from the night go towards Pelotonia, (http://pelotonia.org/) where every single penny donated goes directly to the James Cancer Center. Doors and bar open at 7, show starts at 8. Aphra Behn's 1687 comedy is a zany blend of commedia dell'arte, music, and science fiction. Servants and lovers run wild in this play which was hugely successful in the English Restoration Period. Behn's work has been described as "an affordable mini-spectacle," and she is considered one of the great women playwrights in all of classic theatre. Performances are July 20 thru August 6, 2017. MadLab Kicks Off 2014 Young Writers Short Play Festival Today

MadLab will present The Young Writers Short Play Festival, a collection of ten short plays written by eleven Columbus area high school students. MadLab is a non-profit organization that provides an artistic haven for the creation and experience of original works. Part of that effort involves giving young people the opportunity to create original works. This festival was born from that goal. MadLab sought out submissions from area high schools and chose the best plays to produce. Student playwrights will work with experienced local playwrights to help them with their plays.
