JOSEPH AND THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT Opens This Weekend at The Black Box
The Franklin Performing Arts Company (FPAC) presents the hit family musical, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, opening this weekend at THE BLACK BOX in downtown Franklin. Staged for six performances, show times are Saturday, March 10 at 2:00 and 7:30; Sunday, March 11 at 2:00; Friday, March 16 and Saturday, March 17 at 7:30; and Sunday, March 18 at 2:00. Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat is a colorful and uplifting show for audiences of all ages.

FPAC invites audiences to fall under Drosselmeyer's dreamy spell and join Clara and her Nutcracker Prince on a journey full of surprises and wonder. A popular holiday tradition for more than two decades, The Nutcracker remains a highly anticipated and treasured part of the FPAC season. Set to Tchaikovsky's beloved score, the timeless ballet delights the imaginations of audiences young and old with festive magic and colorful splendor. FPAC presents The Nutcracker today, December 5 at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, December 6 at 2 p.m. at the Franklin High School auditorium, 218 Oak Street, in Franklin.
FPAC to Host 'TIS THE SEASON Holiday Concert
Franklin Performing Arts Company (FPAC) presents 'Tis the Season!, an upbeat, jazzy extravaganza featuring members of the Kenny Hadley Big Band, with contemporary arrangements of favorite holiday classics in musical styles ranging from R&B, Motown and gospel to pop, jazz and Broadway. Performances are Saturday, December 19 at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, December 20 at 2 p.m. at the Franklin High School auditorium, 218 Oak Street. First staged by FPAC in 1995, 'Tis the Season! returns with a large cast of area performers to entertain audiences with great merriment, fanfare and fun. Musical arrangements include Andy Williams' "It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year" and "Happy Holiday," Quincy Jones' sensational version of the "Hallelujah Chorus," songs from several popular television holiday specials, and many surprises.

Franklin School for the Performing Arts Announces New Dance Faculty Members
The Franklin School for the Performing Arts (FSPA) welcomes two new faculty members to the Dance Department for the 2012-2013 school year. Beginning this September, Cathy Hazeltine Fallon, Instructor of Children's Dance and Ballet, and Jennifer Markham, Instructor of Ballet, will teach in Franklin and at the school's new satellite location in downtown Hudson. FSPA's Dance Department offers programs for all ages and levels in ballet, jazz, modern, tap, hip hop and lyrical, including classes specifically for boys, adults and beginner teens.
FSPA Announces New Dance Program
This coming fall, students at the Franklin School for the Performing Arts (FSPA) will have the opportunity to participate in a new interdisciplinary dance program with what's being described as 'a host of innovative features.' Project Dance is the brainchild of FSPA faculty members, Casey Harkness Andrade and Jenny Oliver, who will serve as program coordinators. Offered to students in grades 3 and up, Project Dance enables students to build their own individualized programs by drawing upon the many complimentary dance disciplines, classes and performance opportunities offered at FSPA.
