Factory Theater Presents THE ADVENTURES OF SPIRIT FORCE FIVE
The Factory Theater presents the world premiere of The Adventures of Spirit Force Five, playing June 29 - August 11 at the Factory Theater, 1623 W. Howard St. The new play is written by Jill Oliver and directed by Spenser Davis. Previews are Friday, June 29 and Saturday, June 30 at 8 p.m. and Sunday, July 1 at 3 p.m.

To accommodate extraordinary ticket demand, Lifeline Theatre announces ten added performances of its Jeff Recommended and critically-acclaimed production of A Wrinkle in Time, adapted by James Sie (Non-Equity Jeff Award: New Work, Island of Blue Dolphins), and directed by Lifeline Theatre ensemble member Elise Kauzlaric (Non-Equity Jeff nomination: Director-Play, Mariette in Ecstasy), based on the novel by Madeleine L'Engle. Ever since her father vanished under mysterious circumstances, Meg Murry's life has been spiraling out of control. But one dark and stormy night, Mrs. Whatsit, Mrs. Who, and Mrs. Which appear with a promise to help rescue him from the monstrous darkness that threatens the universe. Join Meg, her brother Charles Wallace, their pal Calvin, and a host of extraterrestrial friends and foes as they journey into the heart of a terrible evil in the hope of reuniting a fragmented family. A heartwarming adventure across the stars, in a newly-revised adaptation of the beloved 1963 favorite by Madeleine L'Engle, not seen on the Lifeline stage since 1999. The production runs two hours with one intermission. The novel is on sale in the lobby.

Pride Films and Plays will complete its fun summer in Mary's Attic with the world premiere of BITE: A Pucking Queer Cabaret, PFP Artistic Associate Derek Van Barham's immersive, pop-rock ode to A Midsummer Night's Dream. As Puck and the other fairies at Mary's prepare for a celebration, their world is rocked by news of a break-up between their King and Queen. When four mortals wander up the stairs, they get caught in a web of drinking and deception, as they become pawns in a magical game of love, 400 years in the making. Mary's Attic will be filled with music, dance, and fairies of all kinds, as BITE retells one of the Bard's beloved love stories through a queer lens.
