Carmen Lamar is an actor, singer, children’s theatre director, and a proud member of the professional actor unions: SAG-AFTRA and AEA. Carmen has performed in NYC, regional, and summer stock theatre. Carmen's "You're Gonna Hear from Me" played at the Laurie Beechman in October & November, 2017, before that she appeared with Loni Ackerman in "Glockcoma!" for the Midtown Theatre International Theatre Festival and portrayed Connie Francis in "Francis Meets Franics" at Symphony Space.
Carmen has acted regionally in such shows as "Baby Dance" (Rachel), The "Time of the Cuckoo" (Fioria), "House of Blue Leaves" (Corrinna), and "Laughter on the 23rd Floor" (Carol) all at the Schoolhouse Theatre in Croton Falls under the artistic direction of Pamela Moller-Kareman. Other roles include Monica in "Maids of Honor" at ATA and Guenevere in "Camelot" at Jekyll Island Musical Theatre Festival. She is an accomplished spokesperson for consumer electronic shows and has appeared on TV in the "Mysteries of Laura," "One Life to Live," and "The Biography Channel." She was recently nominated for a Best Actress award in the CC7Day Film Festival where she played the lead in a short film, The Middle of Ever After.
