Carly’s breakout EP – “What Love is All About” – is now available on iTunes. This EP reflects her early recording work with legends Gamble & Huff in her hometown of Philadelphia, and the title song is one of many collaborations between Carly and Wildhorn, whose Jekyll & Hyde and The Scarlett Pimpernel were some of Carly’s earliest musical influences as an artist and writer.
Collaborating together since they met through mutual colleagues in 2010, Carly and Wildhorn wrote together for Carly’s record and for projects by SABRINA WECKERLIN and KERRY ELLIS. Carly sang on Wildhorn’s recording projects for JULIA OAK and MEGUMI HAMADA, and she conceived the idea for HUBERMAN, a new theatrical work based on the life of Bronislaw Huberman, which Wildhorn is currently developing for Europe.
Also in the theatrical realm, Carly was a featured vocalist on the 2012 Jekyll & Hyde Concept Recording, she regularly collaborates with other Broadway composers like Amy Powers (SUNSET BOULEVARD, DR. ZHIVAGO), she was tapped by theatre composer Hollye Levin (A TASTE OF THINGS TO COME) to star in her forthcoming theatrical work, SYNCHRONICITY, and record its concept album, and she has performed at charity functions supporting The Actor’s Fund: Equity Fights AIDS, From Broadway with Love, and Broadway Sings for Pride.
