HACKS Renewed for Season Four at Max

Max has renewed the multi-Emmy® Award-winning comedy series HACKS for a fourth season. The series’ first two seasons received many accolades including awards from Golden Globes, AFI, Peabody, Critics Choice, DGA, SAG®, WGA and GLAAD. Season three premiered to critical acclaim on May 2 and the season finale is now streaming on Max.

The Critics Choice Association (CCA) have announced the date and honorees for its inaugural Celebration of LGBTQ+ Cinema & Television. Several honorees are Broadway performers, including Nathan Lane, George Takei, and Michaela Jaé Rodriguez. The gala event will be hosted by actress, stand-up comedian, and writer Sherry Cola, a fierce advocate for LGBTQ+ rights and a barrier breaker as a queer Chinese-American immigrant woman in film, television and comedy.

Max has just released the first full trailer for Season 3 of the highly acclaimed comedy series Hacks. A year after parting, Deborah Vance (Jean Smart) is riding high off the success of her standup special while Ava (Hannah Einbinder) pursues new opportunities back in Los Angeles. The nine-episode season debuts with two episodes, followed by two new episodes each week, concluding with the season finale on May 30. Watch the trailer here!
