Caren Tackett will present 'Side; a tale of mental illness' in concert at NYMF 2019, taking place at the Laurie Beechman Theater on July 9 (6pm) and July 10 (9:30pm), and featuring musicians Dov Schiller, Jaco Schiller, Vincent Vinezia & Jennifer Vincent, with additional vocals provided by Emily Afton, Amelia Cosco, Lauren Elder, Colin Gregory & Elise Levin, and Direction by Colin Gregory.
New York Musical Festival Announces First Ever NYMF Artist Fellowship
The New York Musical Festival (NYMF) has announced the first ever NYMF Artist Fellowship, a two-year program that will be awarded annually to an exceptional artist of note who is changing the landscape of musical theater. The fellowship involves the presentation of a reading or concert in the first year of the fellowship and a full production in the second year.

Tickets are a cash donation of your choice at the door to raise money for the new musical Born Blue, which benefits St Jude Children's Research Hospital. The concert takes place at The Cutting Room, 44 East 32nd Street Doors open at 8 pm. Plus, show memorabilia will be auctioned off, including items from performances of RENT and Hair.

Anthony Rapp to Direct BORN BLUE Benefit, 9/8
RENT alum Anthony Rapp (RENT, You're a Good Man Charlie Brown) will collaborate on a one night only reading of BORN BLUE, a new musical written by Caren Tackett (RENT, Hair). Proceeds from the event will benefit New York City based not-for-profit Broadway Impact.
