Join Rooftop Films For A Free Screening Of Jim McKay's Critically Acclaimed EN EL SEPTIMO DIA

On Saturday, June 23rd, Rooftop Films will present a special free screening of Jim McKay's critically-acclaimed, Sunset Park-based feature film En el Séptimo Día outdoors on the Pier of Brooklyn Army Terminal, just blocks away from where the film was shot. The evening will include live music, food from local vendors, and a pop-up soccer field from Street Soccer USA. McKay and select cast members will be in attendance and will participate in a Q&A after the screening.
Rooftop Films Announces Full 2018 Summer Slate

Rooftop Films is proud to announce our feature film slate for the 2018 Rooftop Films Summer Series, presented by SundanceTV. This year's series will take place May 19th to August 25th featuring more than 45 outdoor screenings in more than a dozen spectacular outdoor venues, with live music, filmmaker appearances, and special enhanced screenings of the best, new, independent films from around the world. The open-air festivities will kick off on Saturday, May 19th, with “This is What We Mean by Short Films,” a collection of some of the most innovative short films of the past year. That screening will take place in the newest Rooftop Films venue, Green-Wood Cemetery. 
COMING OUT to Open at Abbey Theater of Dublin, Today

Rehearsals are under way for the new J.T. McDaniel dark comedy Coming Out, premiering at the Abbey Theater of Dublin on October 4. The nine member cast includes author McDaniel, Brenda Newsom, Jim LeVally, Martha Kathryn Smith, Ashley Collins, Josh Kaplonski, Jai Furlong, Will 'Tu Tail' Smith, and Grace Rinehart.
