Born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii, Candice is determined to teach everyone the proper pronunciation of "ukulele." She loves cold weather, moving all the way to snowy Syracuse to pursue a BFA in Musical Theatre. She moved to NYC in January 2021, and is slowly but surely learning how to transfer train lines without using Citymapper. Candice enjoys tackling a range of characters in her work, from the blunt and sassy "Sheila Bryant" in A Chorus Line, to the demure and delicate “Liat” in South Pacific. In her time off, Candice can be found writing librettos and lyrics, doodling, and saving money in order to expand her very small collection of Doc Martens. She most recently competed in the first BroadwayWorld Next on Stage Dance Competition, and she won "Best Supporting Performer in A Streaming Musical (Professional)" in the BroadwayWorld 2021 Central New York Awards.
