Callandra Olivia is a singer and actress based out of Los Angeles.
Callandra will be starring as Sherrie Christian in the new immersive sit down production of Rock of Ages starting this fall at the specially built performance venue on Hollywood Boulevard named after the venue at the center of the show, The Bourbon Room.
Since an early age, Ms. Olivia had a love for performing. She went on to graduate with honors from Minnesota State University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre in 2014. At the end of her collegiate career, Callandra won the prestige Irene Ryan and performed at the Kennedy Center in Washington DC.
In her first year in L.A., she was privileged to play Laurey in Cabrillo's Oklahoma!. Shirley Jones, who played Laurey in the 1955 Academy Award-winning film adaptation of Oklahoma!, not only attended opening night but told Callandra in an interview, "you're going to be big in this business. I can see it now!" Shortly after Oklahoma!, Ms. Olivia originated the role of Riley in the World Premiere of We Are the Tigers at the L.A. Hudson Theatre. She was also a member of the first cast of Frozen Live at the Hyperion Theatre at Disneyland. In television, Callandra guest-starred on Kay Cannon's new Netflix original series, Girlboss, and starred in an episode of Unusual Suspects and Blood Relatives.
Her most recent roles include playing Bonnie Parker in Bonnie & Clyde with original b'way cast members Victor Hernandez's direction and the role of Dyanne in Million Dollar Quartet.
Callandra is currently represented by her theatrical agent, Anthony Boyer, of DDO Artists Agency.
