BETWEEN THE SEAS is thrilled to announce the 2019 line up for its festival celebrating Mediterranean performance. BETWEEN THE SEAS runs from Thursday, May 16 - Sunday, May 19. The performance schedule is Thursday - Friday at 8 PM; Saturday and Sunday at 5 PM & 8 PM. Performances are at Theaterlab (357 West 36th Street, between 8th & 9th Avenues. 3rd Floor; A/C/E or 1/2/3 to 34th Street). Tickets are $20; students/seniors $15 with valid ID. Random Access Theatre Closes 2015 Season with World Premiere of PATRONAGE
Random Access Theatre in association with Not Without Rage is proud to present the World Premiere of Patronage-A Fairy Tale in One Act by New York based playwright Kati Frazier. Patronage marks the final production of Random Access Theatre's 2015 season and the first collaboration between the company with playwright Kati Frazier. It will play at Rabbithole Studios December 4-20, 2015.
PopUP Theatrics Extends BROKEN CITY: HARLEM
PopUP Theatrics new show, BROKEN CITY: Harlem recently sold out six performances at The Harlem Arts Festival. An extended run will take place between June 29th - July 11th in Harlem. BROKEN CITY: Harlem was conceived by PopUP Theatrics partners, Ana Margineanu, and Tamilla Woodard in collaboration with playwright Peca Stefan. This production highlights artists from the National Black Theatre, Liberation Theatre, HARLEM9, and Harlem Natives.

In Jonas Hassen Khemiri's third play WE ARE A HUNDRED we meet a trio of women: A young revolutionary, a middle-aged living within her comfort zone, and an old truth seeker. Three persons who, in their fight to define themselves, start to realize that they are the same person. Join Jonas Hassen Khemiri's unpredictable world where everyone fights to define the meaning of the word 'we'. Khemiri, born in Sweden in 1978, is the author of three novels and six plays. His first novel, One REd Eye, received in 2004 the Boras Tidning award for best literary debut. His second novel, Montocore, (2011) won several literary awards including the Swedish Radio Award for best novel of the year. Khemiri's works have been translated into more than fifteen languages and his plays have been performed by over 40 international companies. In 2011 Khemiri's play Invasion premiered in New York at Walkerspace and he was awarded a Village Voice Obie Award for playwriting.
