Punchdrunk, the internationally-acclaimed theatre company who pioneered the breakthrough of immersive theatre in the UK, are returning to London for the first time since 2014. Following a break from the capital, with sell-out international productions and their award-winning foray into TV, with The Third Day, the company are back in their home city to premiere their first major new show since The Drowned Man.
Punchdrunk To Release The Punchdrunk Encyclopaedia To Mark 18 Years Of The Company's Existence
Punchdrunk had announced The Punchdrunk Encyclopaedia, the definitive book on the company's work to date, which will be released to mark eighteen years of Punchdrunk's existence. Written by Jo Machon along with the Punchdrunk team and published by Routledge, it will provide the first full-scale, historical account of one of the world's foremost theatre companies, drawn from the collective memory and archives of the core creative team past and present.

Punchdrunk International and co-producers SMG Live have announced that their production of Sleep No More in Shanghai will now run until 12 August 2017. The company marked a major milestone recently with their 100th performance on Wednesday 3 May. A special celebration took place where audience members were treated to a one-off cabaret night after the show. Punchdrunk's SLEEP NO MORE Shanghai Extends Booking Period to May
Punchdrunk International and co-producers SMG Live today announced the extension of their production of SLEEP NO MORE, which opened to great acclaim on 14th December. Over 30,000 tickets have now been sold for the production, with every performance playing to sell out audiences. Booking is now open until 31st May 2017.
Punchdrunk Announces Asian Premiere with SLEEP NO MORE in Shanghai
Punchdrunk have today announced a brand new production of their award-winning theatrical experience, SLEEP NO MORE, premiering in Shanghai this year. In December 2016, the doors will open to the "McKinnon Hotel" in the city's Jing'an District, ushering audiences into this visceral, tactile and darkly cinematic telling of Shakespeare's classic tragedy, Macbeth.
Anti-War Piece by Mark Anderson, FURIOUS FOLLY, Set for UK-Wide Tour
FURIOUS FOLLY, created by Mark Anderson, takes place as night falls in a no-man's land on the battle front. Audiences of up to 2,000 people per night find themselves immersed within an open-air collage of sound, light, pyrotechnics and performance. Commissioned by 14-18 NOW, the UK's arts programme for the First World War centenary, FURIOUS FOLLY is one of 27 new commissions exploring how the Great War has impacted on the society we live in now.
