LIVING FOR TODAY, with musical direction by Nate Patten, and direction by David Alpert, played a one-night-only engagement at the newly renovated Joe's Pub last night, October 17, 2011 at 7:00PM. The fourth annual LIVING FOR TODAY concert showcased Broadway stars in an exciting night of music. This year's concert, titled FIRST NAME BASIS, featured everyone's favorite showtunes, but only those with a first name in the title. Proceeds go to the Gilana Shira Alpert Fund.

2009 Innovative Theatre Awards Announced!
On Monday September 21, 2009, the IT Awards (New York Innovative Theatre Awards), the organization dedicated to celebrating Off-Off-Broadway, and host Julie Halston, announced the 2009 recipients at the Fifth Annual IT Awards Ceremony at New World Stages. The Gallery Players Receives New York Innovative Theatre Awards Nominations For 2008-09 Season Productions
Just weeks after announcing their 43rd season, The Gallery Players is proud to announce nominations for nine New York Innovative Theatre Awards for productions in its 2008-2009 season, including two for Outstanding Production of a Musical and one for Outstanding Production of a Play. This marks the third consecutive season The New York Innovative Theatre Awards has recognized The Gallery Players, who have received the honor of Outstanding Production of a Musical for the past two seasons.
